Grace Leonard

DIRECTOR | SPEECH PATHOLOGIST | SINGING TEACHER | VOCAL COACH

Grace Leonard (CPSP, MSPA) is a passionate and experienced singing teacher, vocal coach and Speech Pathologist who loves to inspire her students and clients with the confidence to create, perform and be themselves. She has been teaching for over 13 years and has a variety of experience performing and recording as a vocalist.

After completing her Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice Performance (with Distinction) at the The University of Newcastle Conservatorium of Music in 2014, Grace went on to complete a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) at the University of Sydney (2019). She utilises her clinical experience as a Speech Pathologist and her vocal experience as a singer, performer and teacher to inform her approach as a holistic vocal trainer. Grace continues to seek and invest in professional development for vocal training and voice therapy to ensure her clients are receiving a high-quality and evidence-based service. She is trained in Estill Voice Training Level 1 & 2.

Grace is passionate about vocal health, developing strong musicality and technique, and delivering holistic, individualised training to singers and voice performers. Her studio space is a safe, welcoming and accommodating environment for LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals, and is registered with the ACON Welcome Here program.

As well as delivering individual sessions in her private studio, Grace also works with a range of students across Sydney and NSW:

Grace has performed, recorded and/or toured with CoCreative, Sydney Philharmonia Chamber Singers and VOX, Cantillation, Gondwana Chorale, Metropolitan Players, The National Theatre Company, Newcastle University Chamber Choir and Christ Church Cathedral Choir.

Grace is an active member of ANATS, Australian Voice Association, Speech Pathology Australia and the Laryngology Society of Australasia.

Lucy Lush

SINGING TEACHER | VOCAL COACH

Lucy is a dedicated singing teacher, singer and voice actor based in Sydney. She specialises in building strong relationships and an enjoyable environment that empowers students to develop and hone their skills. 

Originally from the UK, Lucy began her music-making with voice and violin, later adding piano to the mix. Today her work as an educator includes Vocal Tutor for the Junior Singers at The NSW Arts Unit, Conductor for the NSW Public Schools State Choir at the 2024 NSW Festival of Choral Music, Vocal Tutor at Queenwood School, where she is also a Chorus Master for their 2024 musical, Legally Blonde. Lucy has over 20 years performance experience and is currently studying a Master of Teaching at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. 

Lucy focuses on understanding each student’s unique needs and goals, tailoring her teaching methods to help them achieve their full potential. She integrates her performance experience into her teaching, providing practical insights and real-world applications. Whether in the studio or on the stage, Lucy’s holistic approach is about building confidence and technical skills, encouraging creativity, while instilling a lifelong passion for music in her students.

Anna Stephens

SINGING TEACHER | VOCAL COACH

Anna Stephens (MSPA, CPSP) is a performer, singing teacher and Speech Pathologist, with a passion for ensuring her students learn healthy technical singing foundations as well as fostering creativity and musicianship.

Anna started her musical journey as a pianist, then flautist, and finally, decided to pursue her love of singing at The Queensland Conservatorium of Music (Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours) and London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Anna has performed extensively with national and international production companies in both Opera and Musical Theatre. Her performance highlights include Opera Australia’s touring productions of The Magic Flute and By the Light of the Moon, Lisa Gasteen National Opera School’s Ariadne Auf Naxos, Victorian Opera’s Sweeney Todd, Opera Australia/Cameron Mackintosh’s 2022 Phantom of the Opera (Carlotta cover and Swing), and the 2024-2025 World Tour production of The Phantom of the Opera in Asia. Anna also has years of experience as a choral scholar, lead singer in Jazz bands, and solo artist with international cruise lines, orchestras, and various entertainment groups.

Anna’s love of voice science led her to undertake further studies, and she completed a Masters of Speech and Language Pathology in 2024 at The University of Sydney. Anna is passionate about continuing to learn and grow as a teacher, voice therapist and vocal pedagogue. Her teaching is informed by a blend of performance experience, voice therapy experience, and current best evidence. She focuses on building healthy technical foundations, strong musicianship skills, vocal longevity, performance artistry, and nurturing each individual’s uniqueness and creativity in a fun and trusting environment.

Anna is an active member of ANATS, the Australian Voice Association and Speech Pathology Australia.

Ella Donovan

SINGING TEACHER

Ella Donovan is a kind, approachable singing teacher and passionate musician who is keen to foster and inspire a love of singing and performing in her students.

Ella grew up playing violin, guitar and singing, with her musical journey leading her to study a Bachelor of Music (Education) majoring in Classical Voice Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She is keenly developing her understanding and skills in music pedagogy, putting her knowledge of current education research into practice in her lessons. Ella has loved working with the LVStage groups throughout 2025, building the kids’ skills and confidence in solo and group singing.

Ella has performed as a Backing Vocalist in the NSW School Spectacular, performed with the Australian Girl’s Choir, the Arts Unit Singers as well as in the Core Choir for the NSW School Spectacular. She currently sings and performs with Sydney Philharmonia Choir’s VOX, and is involved with various community choirs and council events. Ella is an avid supporter of the Sydney music scene, volunteering with Futureproof to help create welcoming spaces for young musicians of the Inner-West to perform and hone their skills at all-ages events. 

Ella believes that strong vocal technique and skills can be transferable across genres and is eager to put her knowledge of vocal health and performance skills into practice.
